Bennett Road: A New Exhibition Celebrating Black Labor and Culture

In alignment with the forthcoming national Black History Month 2025 theme, Black Labor, the Houston Freedmen’s Town Conservancy (HFTC) proudly presents Bennett Road, an innovative exhibition showcasing the visionary works of Michael Bennett (@mosesbread72), Creative Director of Studio Kër (@studioker), and Martellus Bennett (@martellusb), Creative Director of TOMONOSHi! i+d LaB (@mr.tomonoshi). This exhibition is a profound exploration of identity, community, and cultural intersections rooted in the African Diaspora, drawing on the rich backgrounds and deep connections both artists have with these themes.

Co-organized by HFTC and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) as part of the Rebirth in Action project, Bennett Road is curated by Mich Stevenson, Project Manager – Partnerships, and promises an impactful experience through art that reflects and celebrates Black heritage.
