Combee Conversation & Book Signing

A book discussion and signing with Dr. Edda L. Fields-Black about the story of the Combahee River Raid, one of Harriet Tubman’s most extraordinary accomplishments, based on original documents and written by a descendant of one of the participants. The event will include a reception, book discussion, and book signing with Kindred Stories. The first 10 registered attendees to check in will receive the COMBEE: Harriet Tubman, the Combahee River Raid, and Black Freedom during the Civil War FREE!

Parking: Available at the African American History Research Center at the Gregory School, located at 1300 Cleveland Street, Houston, Texas 77019.
