From 2PM to 5PM, enjoy family-friendly activities including face painting, lawn games, prizes, and more — all while DJ Tazz keeps the energy high with a special set full of your line-dancing favorites (get those fans ready 💃🏽🪭).
Grab a bite at one of our delicious food trucks, and don’t forget to support local Black-owned businesses at our curated vendor market. It’s the perfect time to vibe, play, and celebrate community together.

The Houston Freedmen’s Town Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that protects and preserves the history of Freedmen’s Town for the benefit of future generations. We support community engagement, re-education, and heritage tourism.
