Back-to-School Community Day

Celebrate the power of education and community where it all began in Freedmen’s Town at Community Day for Back to School!
As the birthplace of Houston’s first African-American public schools, Freedmen’s Town stands as a powerful symbol of self-determination and collective progress. This Community Day, we’re celebrating that legacy!

– Prizes, games, and family fun ALL DAY long!
