Aris’s work merges poetics with protest\, imagination with activism making her a powerful voice in the lineage of cultural preservation and transformation. \nHer powerful exhibition\, “SPACE FOR US: Afrofuturism and the Poetic Imagination\,” is currently on view inside the historic Row House gallery next door to the HFTC Visitor Center.
