The Labyrinth is located at the corner of Valentine Street and Ruthven Street\, Houston\, Texas 77019. Please register here to volunteer! See you all there! \nAbout Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church \nFounded in 1915 by formerly enslaved people after emancipation\, the church served as a vital spiritual and community institution until it was removed. The Historic Freedmen‘s Town labyrinth is co-designed and constructed by Reginald Adams\, on the former site of the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in the spring of 2014. \n
